With the name of the band being derived from the Greek goddess of both war and wisdom, it has always been fitting that much of the band’s music has involved themes of war.

To mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of ‘The Great War’ Graeme has written ‘Courage’ assisted by Niall on guitars.

We have compiled a free download album featuring ‘Courage ‘ and other songs of War and Peace curated from the band’s archives.

The Track List is:

1. Courage - 100 year anniversary tribute by Graeme Murray

2. Ascension - a solo track from Niall’s ‘Eclectic Electric’ Album.

3.The XXV Suite - Parts 1 and 2 of XXV united at last in this special edit.

4. In This Broken World - an instrumental mix of a solo track from Niall’s ‘Eclectic Electric’ Album.

5. Beat The Drum Demo - an early and different version from the final release, taken from band archives.

6. Bring Him Home - a new instrumental track from Graeme.

7. L’Ultimo Angelo - The heavenly voice of our friend Pandy Arthur from the final section of ‘The Last Angel’ from ‘The Dreams of Men album’.

We hope you enjoy this free album and we are currently in discussions to possibly be playing live in 2019.

Track Name: Graeme Murray - COURAGE
I’ve watched those flickering films of what you’ve done
You and your pals
So many of you
So many of you
Were just young boys

From the playing fields of Eton
From the factories and farms
To the poppy fields of Flanders
Answered the butcher’s call to arms

Sign up! Sign up for an adventure
And it’s off to France
Oh happy days
You were answering a call from a general on a wall
Who dared you to ignore his gaze

Where did you get your courage from?
To climb those ladders and make that run
Into a place where the generals never come
To do your duty and charge those guns

Where did you get your courage from?
To climb those ladders and make that run
Into a place where the generals never come
To do your duty and charge those guns

In the mud you drowned in glory to the skirl of the piper
At night you cried for mother as you sheltered from the sniper
But when morning came and whistles blew
And field guns screamed and rained on you
You climbed that ladder and charged those guns

And as you ran into the crossfire
Did you really think you’d live
As your pals fell all around you
Giving all they had to give
Did you fear you'd die a virgin
Or make it home alive

Where did you get your courage from?
To climb those ladders and make that run
Into a place where the generals never come
To do your duty and charge those guns

Where did you get your courage from?
Could I climb that ladder and make that run
I guess I’ll never know thanks to what you all have done
Where did you get your courage from?
Track Name: NIALL MATHEWSON - ASCENSION
I have a question, you have no answer,
I don’t need a reason, why I'm pulling the anchor
Adrift on the water, in a boat on a sea
I don’t know where I’m going; I don’t know where I’ve been
Is this the beginning, or is it the end
Will I rise up, or will I descend

Ascension
OHH OHH OHH OHH!
Ascension

There’s a horizon, at the end of the sea
There’s someone out there, is it you or is it me
I'm walking the shoreline, will take my hand?
Burning turning earth is churning, its time to ascend

Ascension
OHH OHH OHH OHH!
Ascension

No time for reflection, in the eye of the storm
I look in the mirror, is it time to move on
There’s an oasis, at the end of the line
There’s a dream just out of reach, is it yours or is it mine

Ascension
OHH OHH OHH OHH!
Ascension
