about

The August special bundle ' CHRONOPHOSIS'

The first of the three gigs featured has never been heard before. It was Ronnies second gig in December 1979 and features some tracks that were written as a four-piece, after Mike Stobbie left and before Ronnie joined, that were only ever played a few times before they were replaced with tracks written as a five-piece.

The gig was part of a Saturday Lunchtime residency that the band arranged, which sometimes served as a rehearsal for a nighttime time gig elsewhere. We’ve recorded much of the banter to add to the nostalgia!
